About the Fundamental Baptist Community
Founded in July of 2005 as the Fundamental Baptist
Forum by our Brother in Christ and friend John Boone, we have continued to grow
and expand our ministry. We are dedicated to preserving the fundamentals of our
faith and to resisting the changes brought about through liberal doctrines and
corruption of the Holy Scriptures. You can find our basic doctrine on the "What
We Believe" page of this site. Brother John Boone is now with the Lord and we here at FBC are
striving to carry on this ministry to honor our God and the legacy that Brother
John left in our care.

Haven For My
Soul
Oh how my soul longs to be with Him,
Exhausted from the trials of the day!
I look forward to sitting close to Him,
And wait anxiously to what He will say.
As He watches, He beckons, "Come join Me!
I'll quench your thirst, make you whole.
I'll give you sweet solace beyond measure
At this peaceful haven for your soul!
"I've created a sanctuary for you
To shelter in a time of storm;
Preparing you for trials which are coming,
As a work in your heart I perform."
So I retreat to that haven each morning.
All my cares at His feet I do lay.
I leave them with Him for He loves me,
And travel along life's narrow way.
